This Amendment to the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2013 (Appendix A.30) solicits proposals for complete suborbital, principal investigator-led investigations to conduct innovative, integrated, hypothesis, or scientific question driven approaches to pressing Earth system science issues. These new investigations will be competitively selected by mid-2014 to provide additional opportunity for investment in innovative Earth system science activities to enhance our capability to better understand the current state of the Earth and to predict future change.
Notices of Intent to propose are requested by November 8, 2013. The due date for full 35-page proposals is January 10, 2014.
